Which cover should be the one contributed in an instance such as this:

Actual retail front cover with the "Wendecover" rating (it not a sticker) on it:

Reverse artwork front cover:

As you can see, the reverse front cover is different in several ways besides just the rating.

Are the poll results here still the consensus after a decade?

Locally I go with the Side B every time.  I have no use for the large rating logos, especially on the front portion of a given cover.  In a few cases I've mixed and matched though using the the front portion of Side B which was identical to Side A, but without the ratings logo, then using the back portion of Side A as the back portion of Side B was slightly different, my preference being the version on Side A.

That being said, if I were making a contribution I'd stick strictly with Side A.  One could always contribute an Alternate Version where Side B is used if they wanted.  And for the record, personally I don't care what side of the cover art is used when someone makes a contribution.  If I don't like what was used once downloaded I'll scan the cover art myself for use locally.

And actually, I replace the cover art for every profile I download anyway.  The cover images stored by the Invelos online database are too small for my liking.  I also want my profiles to use the actual cover art, not the front and back of a slip cover.  To each his own naturally.  That's what I love about DVD Profiler.  Both the PC application and mobile apps aren't tied at the hip to the Invelos online database as is the case with a product like My Movies.

Kat, I can't remember seeing any FSK-side cover contributed when a turn cover was available. People just prefer the nicer looking one. So go for the bottom one.
