There are 128 profiles in which someone is credited as "Uncredited". This is wrong, right?

So I was curious and did a CLT search and to my surprise there are 128 profiles in which someone is credited as Uncredited.

I thought that this was against the rules, especially for crew since they can't be visually identified.

Of course it is. Filling in the word "Uncredited" in the "credited as" field is absolute nonsense. All these profiles need to be corrected. And people need to learn how to use the custom crew fields: it's perfectly fine to want to track something that isn't allowed to be contributed into the online database, but that's exactly what we have those custom crew fields for. Those allow you to include whoever you want, label them however you want, and they'll automatically be excluded when contributing the profile. It's one of the best features DVD Profiler has, but somehow it's ignored by many users.

What are they (the profiles)?
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Just type the word "uncredited" into the CLT, and there they are. There's even one under "(uncredited)", with brackets...

Honestly, I'm surprised this number is that low.  My guess that these are old profiles that haven't been touched in over a decade.

Most likely. E.g.:
3 DVD Collection Coen Brothers - last update January 2, 2010

And the [Hidden Title] are most likely porn.

Several years ago I watched the 1947 film "Captain From Castile".  Jay Silverheels, who later went on to play Tonto in the Lone Ranger television series , played an Aztec prince who had been captured and used as slave labor by the Spaniards.  I don't think I really understood the meaning of pivotal prior to this movie but due to his actions the plot took dramatic turns on three occasions .  I carefully watched the credits and when I didn't see his name I suspected a pseudonym.  This was not the case.  He simply was uncredited.  To have him not listed in the Profiler database would be a serious omission.

I rather think you've misunderstood the situation.

He should be uncredited for the film in the database.
Here, people are being entered as 'uncredited' in the Cast/Crew name field.
These 'names' need removing.

Putting the name 'uncredited' into the Credit Lookup Tool SHOULD create no results.
At the moment it throws up a lot of false 'uncredited is the person's name' entries.

Thanks Grey!  I felt that I didn't understand the situation but was confused as to what  I was confused about.
