Is the actual Running Time while the film is playing or when the film is played? | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

I'm surprised that you're willing to trust the forum's judgment over your own. IMO, if you don't know you shouldn't contribute that information. If you insist on contributing run times, you should probably use the last run time displayed on your player during the playing of the film, immediately prior to it resetting to 0. --------------- | | | Last edited: by scotthm |

| Posted: | | | | Usually, on most players, there's some way of finding out how long the movie is. Sometimes when you pause the movie, it will say how long the movie is. How long is the 'Title' on the DVD? That's the Running Time. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | Yea, the choices seem to be one and the same. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

| Posted: | | | | For German DVDs I would use the running time of the film with original ending credits, which isn't always the same as the running time when Local dubbers are added after the film credits. |

| Posted: | | | | As a german user i am quite certain that the time at which the movie was shown in cinemas is supposed to go into this field. i.e. 8:00 pm. |
