Hey guys, I just started using the software, and trying to learn the basics of it. I think I got basically everything down (that I care about) besides this. I'm curious about double features, movie theme packs, that sort of thing. I would consider them boxsets, but they do not have individual discs.

What I would like is to have a DVD parent issue, for say "Peekarama: The Young Like It Hot / Sweet Young Foxes". Then, from there, have two child issues for The Young Like It Hot, and Sweet Young Foxes separately. The problem I'm seeing is that when I go to add the second feature, by disc ID, it says that that disc is already entered in the collection, but under the different name. If I choose to add it by collection, it perminantely gets added as "Manual DVD #1" even though i've manually changed the disc ID to the correct ID once it's added into the database, it still shows it as Manual DVD #1. I would like for it to have the correct disc IDs.

I know this is possible as I added a trilogy set I got with 2 discs, the first disc has the first film, and the second disc has the other two. In this case, BOTH of the films on disc two have the appropriate tag for disc ID, and it doesn't show "Manual DVD #1", "Manual DVD #2", etc. The UPC for this release is 814456020204, as "The Pretty Peaches Trilogy".

NOTE* Just noticed that with Pretty Peaches Trilogy, both the second, and third volume, had slightly different disc IDs. Their the exact same, except #3, has "#1" added to the end to differentiate. If this is what I need to do going forward, I am more than down to do so, however I still don't know how. There's no place I see that I can manually edit the disc ID, it's always just gotten from what ever is in the disc drive.

Just to note, the disc I'm having the issue with (which I will also have the same issue appear many times going forward as I have a lot of these discs), does not have multiple upc codes.

One more thing, I could open a new thread, but it's just a quickie. Is there a place to add catalog numbers for releases? I don't see such an option, only UPC codes.

This is the proposed solution I would like to be able to replicate on my own.
