34 so far... save often ... Don't think I'll get anywhere near all 66 though!

Edit: Up to 40 but really struggling now!

60

See picture with coordinates: Link (mouse over)
Stuff I think are hints but don't know what for:
S8 - the potted plant (it is not Little Shop of Horrors)
R6 - fire extinguisher
P1 - Gnome
O2 - poster
N6 - yellow hand sticker
D5 - staff or snake?
G8 - chattering teeth
F9 - plastic bag
so 8 hints for 6 missing movies

If you want to spoil yourself see here. You'll see the hints highlighted and with mouse-over the titles should appear.

Thanks, corrected. Had this movie title duplicated.

solved:
G8 - still needed google, too long since I saw that one
S8 - finally realized where this plant is from, I'm ashamed it took me this long for that title
O2 - it clicked and suddenly I recognized the stylized actor

41 after three days of work

I went in hoping but not expecting to get more than 25 because I assumed it would include a lot of movies that I had never seen or even knew about.

I also guessed two that ended up not being correct for the reference that I was looking at but did have a difference reference in another area of the room, so I got lucky.

I got 39, but started guessing near the end and finally got three wrong.  I think I did pretty good to get that far considering I've never even seen several of the films I got correct.

46

I had a couple "close but no cigar":

Spoiler:  (Select to view)
I had "Short Circuit" for "WALL-E"; and I thought "The Birds" were the owls from "Clash of the Titans". I guessed "Casper" for the Casper mask rather than "A Perfect World" and from the distance I thought "Amadeus" was Count Dracula from "Hotel Transylvania." I had "Monsters Inc" for "Alice in Wonderland".

Most of those I missed completely are films I haven't seen, or it's been a long time.

I'm still stuck at 63, could you give me the coordinates of the missing 3?

Thanks. Yeah, at one time or another I suspected those 3 to be clues, haven't had any good enough idea though.
Spoiler:  (Select to view)
Gnome - came up only with Gnomeo&Juliet or something with the seven Dwarfs, no luck
Snake/Staff - suspected Moses but no luck on any of those old monumentals
Green stuff - no idea whatsoever

So I'd need the answers either in Spoiler or via PM, please!
