I looked at DVD Profiler (iOS) some time ago but never made the jump from Google Docs; however recently I've begun looking at DVD Profiler again as a way to keep my collection (or a least a list thereof) with me wherever I go.

A significant portion of my collection is in digital format, a mix of homebrew (MP4), iTunes, Vudu etc in various definitions (SD, HD, HDX).

In order to keep track of all my collection in it's various formats I believe I would need to add the following custom media types (with some future proofing built in).

[quote]Laserdisc
VHS
iTunes [HD]
iTunes [SD]
MP4
MP4 [720p]
MP4 [1080p]
MP4 [4K]
Vudu [HDX]
Vudu [HD]
Vudu [SD]
Vudu [4K]
Amazon [SD]
Amazon [HD]
Amazon [4K]
Flixster [HDX]
Flixster [HD]
Flixster [SD]
Google Play [HD]
Google Play [SD]
Google Play [4K][/quote]

Is there an easier way to accomplish this...am I missing something?

Also - I would need separate entries for the BLU and the DC correct...so a title would essential have to be in the database for each media type (ie: BLU, iTunes, Vudu)

After reading some posts (and looking a little more at the software) I think this could be simplified to -

Laserdisc
VHS
iTunes
MP4
Vudu
Amazon
Flixster
Google Play

...and use tags for [HD] [SD] [HDX] etc

Anyone else with an extensive Digital collection have any tips?

Looks like anything added would have to be either added from the PC client or edited on the PC client if I want to set the media type to anything other than BLU or DVD

I second this for the PC/MAC side, as I too have these media formats.
