Hi..  I have a DVD entitled 3 Full-Length Features which has the movies Beat The Devil, The Big Lift, and My Man Godfrey compiled onto one DVD.  This DVD is already part of the Invelos online collection but it doesn't list the movies as child profiles.

Now I would add these myself but I am unsure if this is the correct solution for this case.  Is this DVD considered a box set??  Or just a special DVD, containing all 3 movies.  I WOULD like to have the 3 movies list separate though in my collection so that when I do a search or browse the movies I have they list out.

If someone could point me in the right direction here it would be great..

Thanks

Dave

I'm pretty sure that because it's on one disc, you wouldn't do child profiles-at least you wouldn't be able to contribute them. The info should be there,  using the dividers to separate movies.

But, see what others say, as my info may be out of date. Hope it helps a bit, though.

They can't be contributed as children, only individual discs can be added.  In this case all of the information  has to be contained on the single profile, at least for what is on in the online db.  However you can create your own children manually and profile them separately but keep them in your local only.  And this type of question really belongs in the Contribution Discussion forum

I believe others like having individual profiles for each movie, so you're not alone.

The title seems a bit wonky to me, something along "Beat The Devil / The Big Lift / My Man Godfrey" might be better.

And that is how it is going to stay as far as the Invelos database is concerned. As of know you simply can't submit child profiles because for a profiles contribution you need either and UPC/EAN or a DiscID, and you have only one DiscID, not 3.

This. If you want to enhance the profile, which would be appreciated, read the contribution rules thoroughly and have a look at e.g. Village of the Dammed, 012569691827

Understandable, and easy to achieve:
Search by title, download the best profile for each of the three movies.
Now for each of the profiles go DVD -> Change UPC and enter "m" there, now this profile is a manual profile which is not contributable but will show up in your online-list (but without cover) if you upload your collection.
Now you can add those three profiles as box-set content to the existing profile locally.

IS all 3 movies on the same side of the disc? If there is some on both sides it can be broken down to child profiles for each side. But that is as far as we can go.
