Looking over all of the posts here and all of the requests, I think we can rap this up by suggesting that the Android version be a clone to the Windows version in all aspects...except for the needed operating system of course.

Will that work for everyone?

Nope,

it should, of course, be much better than just a clone of the Desktop-version and have the complete Feature Requests for the Desktop-version implemented already.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Considering what your asking for, at least from a layman's point of view, I would think it is close to impossible and unnecessary. The feature set in the mobile version already beats most of what I've demoed on the market.
If you put the full feature set of DVD Profiler in a mobile app, you would eliminate a large percentage of Android users who either have no reason to, or cannot afford to, upgrade their phones. The program needs to be able to run on the oldest OS Ken feels comfortable developing for, and  minimum hardware so he doesn't loose users.
In my case, I can't afford to upgrade because I've been unemployed most of 3&1/2 years and I'm living on what was supposed to be my unemployment.  What economic recovery?

Anyway, the more features added, the more phone resources will be needed to run it, starting with battery, storage, time to update, etc.

Just my 2 cents.
