happy to be home now at least though the recovery from the operation is not quite as swift as hoped... the bruise on my brain where they removed the tumour meant could  move the fingers on my left hand at all... (really scary)chances are full  movement will come back over time and as of this morning I got the first positive signs as I discovered I  could straighten my fingers.  My face looks a mess though as the operation bruises spread downwards  and the scar on the top of my head is significantly bigger than I realised... stitches ou and dressings off next Tuesday!
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

seems to have gone well for you. I'm sure you'll be up to form in the next few months. Keep typing as any thought process is good for a brain injury/operation.

You look amazingly well after what you've gone through. The worst is over - now it's time to heal and recover and home is the place to do that.

Good to hear the op went okay!

That scar looks pretty vicious, but I have a few of 'em myself. A 3-inch scar above my belly button from a hernia operation as a baby, a scar on my lip from when it got ripped open in a bike wreck (also knocked my teeth loose there), and the remnants of a keloid scar beneath my nose from yet another bike wreck...thankfully almost invisible thanks to plastic surgery. And then there's quite a few scars on my hands and knees.

Yay! You survived the hospital food!

All things considered, you look great. I think they purposely dishevel you so that you can be that much more appreciate of being home.

It's good to see you back. Take it easy to speed your body's healing.

If movement is returning to your fingers, that means in all likelihood it was only temporary. I'm sure it will be fine! Glad everything worked out, as I was sure it would.

Yay! Glad you're home safely! I consider scars battle wounds-I have several large ones from the past few years myself. And hey, if it still bugs you in a year or so-cover 'em up!
