| Posted: | | | | i just bought this Blu-Ray: http://www.amazon.de/Mike-The-Mechanics-Shepherds-Blu-ray/dp/B00CPZG4TE
According to Amazon the Titel is "Mike & The Mechanics - Live At Shepherds Bush".
But if you look at the cover the name should be like "m1ke + The machan1c5 + Paul Carrack - Live at Shepherds Bush London"
Is that criptical name really the right one to put it into the dvdprofiler? |

| Posted: | | | | Rules say exactly as on the cover, and general consensus is to always follow the rules without interpretation, so, yes, the title should be entered as " M1ke + The Mechan1c5 + Paul Carrack: Live at Shepherds Bush London". However, since you're a German user and this is a German disc, you should have taken this to the DVD Profiler German forums, where users tend to interpret the rules in a way that incorporates some level of individually applied logic and common sense when in comes to special cases. That's not to say they would definitely come to a different conclusion in this case. | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." | | | Last edited: by Grendell |

I'm not German, don't speak the language, but I own many DVD's and Blu-rays from the German locality - and I profile them using Invelos's rules. I don't appreciate it if I change something according to Invelos's rules and am then told "no, we do things differently here"... |

The answer may be stupid for the online database, which becomes each day more and more useless. But users all over the world may do what they want with their local, and I think a lot of them will choose the intelligent solution for themselves. | | | Images from movies |

The fact that most of Invelos rules are against common sense (requirement to recopy errors and stupidities that can be found on covers, requirement to add spelling mistakes in names...) is the main reason why we cannot reach consensus here. | | | Images from movies |
