Restore aborted
The following error occurred during the restore:
DBISIM Engine Error # 11013 Access denied to table 'BoxSets'

Someone PLEASE HELP. I've lost my 1,100 plus collection catalog if I can't restore my db.

First thing to try is to run a database repair.

??
How could he do that?
He's trying to restore his database from a corrupted backup-file.
Database Repair would only work if he still had his original database.

@hurkeybird:
Did you make use of the "Online-Collection"?
Sadly your collection is set to "Private" so I cannot check, but if you did you can restore your collection from there too (custom pics will be lost though). Try to restore via menu "Online -> DVDProfiler Online..." and choose "Download"

If you still have access to the previous installation you may simply copy the database folder from there to your new machine.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I'm not sure that's the case. It could equally well be that he's trying to restore a good backup over a corrupt existing database. The error "Access denied to table 'BoxSets' " suggests to me that he does have an existing database.

First of all, read Data Recovery to know additional options.

Then, open a new Database and try to restore there, maybe the others are right and your old DB is corrupted and thus resists overwriting.

There were cases where backups contained a single faulty profile, in that case you should restore the backup a second database but instead of choosing "Restore All Profiles" choose "Restore Specific Profiles" and select e.g. the first half of the profiles, or each letter or something. This way you can narrow down to the one profile that is defective.

I did have a June db uploaded that was a couple hundred movies short so I tried downloading it. I got a database error occurred. DBISAM Error # 1103 Access denied to table 'Discs' I was able to print out all the movies in the online db but I would have to enter them all manually as of now and the online db list does not show where each of them is stored.

Select File -> Open Database
Press New Database
Press Find Current
Create a new empty (don't "copy current") database
Try to restore your backup there

BELIEVE IT OR NOT I got it all back.
The problem was, when I uninstalled the program I didn't tell it to remove everything. Once I TOTALLY uninstalled everything and reinstalled then I was able to restore my db.
Thanks for all the help guys, you put me on the right track.
