| Posted: | | | | While not strictly an Android technical support question, the following is offered up for intending Australian users of the DVD Profiler app. Rather than purchasing the app via the Google Play store because I choose not to provide google with my credit card details to open up a google play account there are now 2 altenatives. I purchased my app from the Amazon app store as I have been a customer for many years now and have never had an issue and would rather trust amazon rather than google with my credit card information. Since the beginning of September, Google have made available 'Google Play'cards. These are a pre-paid credit similar to the Apple's iTunes card. They are available in A$20, A$30 & A$50 denominations over the counter from Woolworths Supermarkets and Big W department stores. No doubt they will be available from other retail outlets, Post Offfice etc. in time. These Google cards are usefull for those of us who prefer to have control of our google play account and choose not to provide credit card details to google. Also, you may have children under age who cannot by law have their own credit cards. I have purchased some cards for my grandchildren to go wild over Useful tip coming into Christmas season. | | | Veni, Vidi, Visa, Vista, Voodoo, Vino I came, I saw, I bought, I installed Vista, I'm now haunted, I need wine
Apologies to Julius Caesar in 47 BC who said "Veni, Vidi, Vici" - "I came, I saw, I conquered." |

| Posted: | | | | Good suggestions. Not much use to as I never use profiler on my phone. Maybe one day.
