Who could help me to alter the field "Rating Sytem" in Certificate, where I could to include several options as: Film, Series, Shows, Documentary, etc.

Thie field is blocked and only permission to include the option of "Film"

Help me.

There is no way to do it on your side. It is made for the official ratings in your Region/locality.

In example... Region 1 USA has 2 official rating systems one for Film and one for Television. If you have more then one rating system you would have to tell Invelos what the ratings are for each system so that it can be added. But there has to be more then one official rating system where you are located.

In addition to Pete's response:

If your country doesn't have a legally binding rating system by some government censor, an equally considered 'binding' advice from recognised bodies in your country will do. For instance, AFAIK, the MPAA rating is handed out in the USA by the MPAA but the MPAA isn't a government body. Its ratings are generally observed in the USA though, again AFAIK.

The ratings are in the 'localities.xod' file on your local PC which can be inspected by a program like Notepad to see 'how it is done'. As the note in the first line of the file says: This file is intended for read use only. Users should not edit this file.  Any changes will be overwritten automatically as database updates are received.

Proposed changes / additions can be posted in this forum for scrutiny by your fellow countrymen.

Thank you.

But I think I did not understand my request. It is not a question of censorship, age rating for the DVD. I just wish in this field Rating System to inform if the DVD I'm registering in database is a film, or a Show, a documentary, a series, or any other kind of entertainment. I just want to have the option to report what the DVD content. The DVD Profiler sorts everything as Film.

But the section you are looking at is only for ratings. There is nothing in the software to do what you ask. Though it has been requested several times.

I would suggest using Tags.

As Pete said, what you're looking for is Tags.

See here for further information: http://www.dougweb.org/dvdpro/kb/index.php?title=Create,_edit_and_set_Tags

Me, myself and I divide my DVDs into three categories: Movies, TV Shows and Special Interest (comedy programs, documentaries etc.):

FWIW I do the same as DJ Doena - rating info is purely to define the rating system, not to define the type of material.

Going by the Tag facility is one way of doing it, fully customisable.

That said, you can also use the 'genre' for this. It assumes everything is 'film', unless otherwise indicated. You can mark 'Documentary', 'Television', 'Classic' and 'accessories'. You alter this in the Edit windows, first tab General Information, left lower corner. The button next to the up/down buttons adds or edits custom genres. So add 'series', 'show' to your liking.

There has been critisism (is that correct English?) that 'genre' mixes content related genres (like 'war', science fiction') with style or technical ones like 'television' or 'documentary'. Invelos has been reluctant to overhaul it wholsesale --though black&white was a genre in the past and is now a seperately coded thing-- so I do not expect much changes in the future here. IOW, you're safe.

Both tags and genres can be viewed in windows in your screen lay-out. Whatever you choose, you'll be OK.

A plus for Tags is that these can be nested. A minus is that to see it, you need to add another view window in your screen layout and might need to scroll each profile if you make it elaborate. Genre OTOH displays in the general information viewing window, which is just about already always a part of the screen layout. A minus for genre might be that it can be overwritten if you refresh profiles from the online database. You can lock genres though (to lock genre in all profiles: select all profiles (CTRL-A), via the menu Collection -> Flagged -> Set Locks and tick the genre box and click OK).
