By definition (just about) anything that gets put onto a DVD or BD must be digitally remastered... it just means the film/video has been transferred into a digital format. It's pointless information as it means nothing. Exactly. It is Marketing-speak, 'promising' a closer resemblance to the initial release quality, luring you into a purchase. But you'll have to watch the picture to see whether it really is so. Technically it means nothing more than Voltaire wrote. Any DVD or BR is nothing more than a lot of plastic and bits.
