We have an issue here

I got a no vote on updating "The Fifth Element" "Luke Perry" to "Luke Perry 1965"

Well as it turns out some sites have his birthdate as 10/11/1965 and some have it at 10/11/1966

The same person

Here is a sampling of the sites.

1965
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000580/
http://www.celebritysky.com/celebrity/427/Luke-Perry
http://www.tv.com/people/luke-perry/

1966
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_Perry
http://www.biography.com/people/luke-perry-20810855
http://www.tvguide.com/celebrities/luke-perry/bio/163166

He is our DB as 1965.  So the NO vote does have merit if you are looking at a site that says 1966.

What do we do here?
Which BY do we use?

Do we just use 1965 since it is in our DB that way and the same person?
Do we eliminate the 1965 and create a 1966?

Generally, the earlier year is the correct one. I really doubt that 1966 is correct.

Based on what?  In my opinion, if there is a question, we shouldn't be using either of them
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Because that's how every other dispute of this nature has gone down. People in Hollywood, especially people like Luke Perry trying to play teenagers, try to make themselves seem younger, not older.

I must have missed those other times but, if what you are saying is true, this is yet another reason not to bother with BYs...guessing, instead of making sure.
