The checkbox is meant for when you don't want the information that's in the online database. My workflow is this: I add a DVD by UPC, but don't download the profile. Then I lock all the fields I don't want to have downloaded. Then I update the profile via the Online menu. This way I don't have to clear fields like media companies and get unwanted name variants and birth years from the online DB. |
