there is a contribution up making changes to the overview.

On the cover, the beginning of the overview is red (to make it stand out from the rest, I suppose), and the rest is black.  I personally do not see the bold typeface, I only see a color difference.

The question is this (and I think this was questioned and/or answered before)

Does a difference in color equate to bold?

Quoting the rules:

Do not use bold/italic to denote color changes.

That would be my contribution and if you actually look at the cover, it is the bold of that particular typeface, not just color. The cover scan does not show it well enough.

I just questioned that same thing when I first saw that contribution. But When I compared a letter from the red and a letter from the black on the actual cover... the red did look bolder. It is not a huge difference... but it is bolder... so it got a yes vote from me.

Then the contrib needs to word it differently
It sounds like he is making a color indicator.

The people who write the DVD cover overview use different fonts, bold and colors for EMPHASIS.
To get the potential buyers attention.
They have color, we don't, and if they did not have color they would do BOLD.

It seems to me that there many more important issues to haggle over.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.
