I'm not asking a question, but merely wanting a thread to keep track of the more frequent 'PAL' DVDs in the United Kingdom which are turning out to be NTSC - despite the boxes proclaiming otherwise.

There are at least two of which I have in my collection, so far...

Street Hawk: The Complete Series
Futurama: The Complete Season 5

It would be good if anyone else has come across this situation and can highlight other releases which may need updating in the system.

The default format for the UK is PAL so these are quite unusual, but are becoming more frequent.

If you can't tell if a DVD is NTSC or PAL certain computer programs can tell you.
"SlySoft AnyDVD" is one that I use (and is regularly accurate).

I can also usually tell straight away due to my old Sony CRT television (or rather my old Pioneer DV-505) very visibly switching to NTSC mode when playing one of the DVDs.

I, for one, would like to know what other releases are out there and need updating.

I can think of three UK releases that are actually NTSC, but I know there's more in my collection:

Metropolis
Paradise Lost: Draconian Times
Paradise Lost: Draconian Times MMXI

Many "Music DVD" releases coming out of the UK seem to be NTSC now.
