I have recently brought the following from HMV in the UK:

There are 12 different films with these Reel Heroes cases and the UPC code isn't in the DVD profiler database and I wanted to add but not sure where to start etc. The films are exactly the same as a normal version of the films just this a comic book style case and sleeve.
Is there a quick way to copy the standard version of the film in to the database and then just put the different cover pic to go with it and what is the best way to obtain a good pic of the cover as the one on the website if very small.

1. download the matching profiles from the maindatabase.
2. For each profile go to DVDProfiler menu "DVD -> Change EAN..." and enter the new EAN for the subprofile, or if it has none put the DVD into your DVD-Rom and choose "Use Disc-ID".
3. Make the necessary changes (Cover, Release date, SRP, Package, etc ...) | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

| | Posted: | | | | For the cover images, you can usually find pics by using google image search (making sure the image is not watermarked), but a quick look just now doesn't look promising. If you don't have a scanner (as I infer from your post) do you have a digital camera? Just take the best pic you can, trim it and use that. | | | | Last edited: by CalebAndCo |

Thanks for the above replies, helps a lot and saves me a lot of work. I will try my best to scan them in as I do have a scanner if that is a acceptable copy, I wasn't sure if there where any restrictions on image quality etc but will do my best. |

| | Posted: | | | | Any scan is better than no scan, and surely better than the "postage stamp" on the HMV site.
When you contribute scans they are reduced to about 100 dpi (for a normal sized DVD/Blu-ray cover). |

So anything sounds better than tiny promo pics from a website. Plus if you scan bigger than accepted, the program will auto-shrink them to fit here.
