Many older 20th Century Fox Blu-ray releases do indeed have Closed Captioning on them. What ends up happening, the BD device becomes the decoder, instead of the TV. They have the same issues with Set top boxes for UVERS/Cable/Satellite. They also cannot transmit encoded data over the HDMI stream. The set top boxes decode and add it to the stream.... Charlie |
