What is the official or recommended way to remove an invalid profile from the INVELOS Database?

The profile what i want to remove is the following:

  Title: My Loving Trouble 7
  UPC: IFE41F45F589814AA
  Locality: Japan

The problem with this profile is that it has the wrong locality (Japan), the rest of the data show that the locality should be Hong Kong. But there is already a profile with the same UPC/DiscID that has the right locality, so i think the profile with the Japan locality should be removed from the database.

It looks like i was the fool that submitted the wrong profile
Don't ask how or why i thought Japan would be the right locality.

What you can try is change the Title to:

PLEASE REMOVE THIS PROFILE FROM THE DATABASE

and explain in the contribution notes, and contribute.

Make sure you mention that you submitted it in error as well.

I countributed the profile like you suggested.
Let's see how it works out.

I was going to delete a wrong profile, but I cant because "The UPC/EAN of the contributed cover scan does not match the profile's UPC/EAN." But that was the reason why it should be deleted

You didn't put in the profile notes what you told us here. You mentioned nothing about being the wrong locality.

Few one sentence replies and it fills my whole screen, despite it being above full hd. I dislike image signatures.

This profile shouldn't be deleted.
According to this info it's a completely valid entry. Only the coverscans should be corrected, or even better the incorrect scans shouldn't have been accepted in the first place.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Indeed, obtrusive and annoying.

And that's why I dislike this procedure of deleting profiles.  I had one once that someone tried to delete.  It was valid and I had it in my collection.

I'd like to see crap weeded out of the database.  But I'd rather not see valid things go.

Here's one...don't know how it slipped through the initial submission...

UPC 711719-810322 PS3 Game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
submitted by: sperezmore on Aug 22, 2010

------------
found another one:

UPC 023272-328757 XBOX Game Platinum Hits Star Wars Battlefront II
submitted by: mediadogg on Mar 21, 2009

-------------
Trust me, I would personally love it if games were acceptable, but at this time, they're against the rules... I would pay good money for a VideoGamePro!!

They would be Ok if this part of the rule matches. (I don't know if it does in the mentioned cases)

It still wouldn't be ok to put in the games. The rule you quoted also says to only put in the info on the bonus DVD... not the info for the game.

Those obviously can be put in for removal.

...

I absolutely agree.

If they are really just the games.
If it is really a bonus DVD with wrongly entered data, then not.

Something which I can't say for sure, but yes at a first look, it looks like they can be removed.
