I happen to remember that the voting screen would show how a name is parsed.

Yesterday I contributed a profile and all the names were in dark blue. I thought it's a fluke or because it's my contribution.

But now it's in the profiles I vote on, too:

I also was surprised at first by this but then I guessed it was a change done by Ken. Then an hour later because of a link in another post I read Ken's statement.
In my opinion he should have announced it in the announcement forum instead of hiding it on page 6 of one of those stupid name parsing threads which I usually avoid.

Just a guess, but based on his other comments in this thread: I could imagine he throw in this change a little bit earlier than he wanted.
