Hi all
Is there a way how I can search for a filmography database for each actor so that I will be able to select and mark those which are missing from my collection as wishlist for future purchases. What I am after is to be able to print thumbnails of all the films sorted by actor (including those which I mark in my wish list). Maybe Ken can think of this in a future upgrade.

May i add to this topic. Is there a way to search an actor's filmography. Say i want to know which are those films that Tom Hanks acted in, the only way to know what is missing from my collection is to go to imdb.com and search his filmography. I would like to see this in profiler whereby i can search and mark those missing from my collection in my wish list.

Sadly the feature you are looking for is not implemented into DVD Profiler.

By double-clicking onto the name of an Cast/Crew-member you can see which movies you have with this member.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Well, you could use the Credit Lookup tool, but it's not really designed for this task since it will display a lot of duplicate entries.

The problem is Profiler is not based on films, but on profiles. So even if you could search the database, you would get multiple profiles for each film, even if you could filter on locality.

I suggest you continue using IMDb.
