Would you use dividers for this

This is what it would look like

or would you just leave them out or would you put them all in the role field [Janet, David's girl].
I have no preference myself was just wondering how this should be handled?

If I came across this list, I would do exactly as you, ask here But I don't think I would use a divider for "and" . I would end the divider after "His aunt", since "and" is not a role

Wherever possible, these groupings should mirror the film credits.

It would seem that this rule tells us to use dividers "wherever possible" so I guess that's ok. Although I'm not too fond of one person groups myself. I would not use a divider for "and" however.

I would do it just as it is in the credits as well. Matter of fact I would even use one for And... after all the rules say...

Quote:
Use Group dividers to designate cast grouped in the credits such as "Soldiers" or "Additional Cast".

If we are to is one for Additional Cast... I don't see how And would be any different.

I have seen many credits with lines such as "and introducing" etc. But I've never seen them entered them with a group divider. But since we have people entering blank dividers (for spaces) I guess it's only a matter of time...

This movie 'Rope' .., all shot on a sound stage with 10 minute film rolls -( fade/cut to black between film exchanges,- no edits) is essentially A well rehearsed  Stage Play.., and thus., these credits mimic a 'casting sheet' usually given to audience members when seated..

Brilliant idea of Hitchcock.. and a definite Yes to Group dividers .

I thought those credits looked familiar. I just couldn't place it. (I only seen it once) Anyway... the R1 US release (Alfred Hitchcock: The Masterpiece Collection) that I have all the dividers... including And in the database.

The one small divider  that I either do or don't agree with is the last one that says  'and'  ..
if  and is allowed  I feel that  'The Players'  should get a divider as well ..

I disagree with you on "The Players" because of this rule...

Quote:
"Cast", "In order of appearance" or other similar headers at the start of the credits should not be entered.

"The Players" is the same thing as "Cast" at the start of the list which is not allowed... just like...

"And" is the same thing as "Additional Cast" Which the rule in my other post showed is to be included.

^ Agreed.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Agreed as well.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
