What's the "Correct" Cover scan for this

So I just picked up the US release of "The Garden of Sinners" (same as Japanese release but has additional booklet of the translation of included book).

Now normally the cover and rear scans are as it is originally packaged and should include the UPC.  However, in this case the Box set comes inside a "suitcase" box which is what you see in retail:

This is what shows the UPC, BD specs, etc.

When you open it up you get the box itself.

Now, since normally the scans should be of how it's presented to the customer is:

The "Suitcase" box the correct scan (rear at minimum) since it shows the UPC, BD specs, etc just like when a data sheet is attached to a release and the front the "inside" box?

Only the inside box (the back is black with no images/writing)?

Only the Outside box which is what you see when you buy it before opening?

I'm leaning towards the first right.

Opinions?

Although less attractive, I'd have to say suitcase box as well.

By the way, that looks like a very nice release there!

I would do the scan without the box.
We also make scans of DVDs without the shrinkwrap, why should we scan the packaging this time?

Is there one entry in the database of the Collectors Edition of Lord of the Rings with a scan of the paperboard container?

Since we don't have anything called a suitcase box, I have no earthly idea what you are talking about. I will relate to two possible experiences based upon your calling it a suitcase box, both Blade Runner and The Man From UNCLE came in a CUSTOM (briefcase style) box. The parent profile got the briefcase image, while the attached child profiles all got the covers that were appropriate to whatever was being dealt with, Season 1, Director's Cut or whatever. Is this setup in some similar sort of fashion or is it simply a Custom (sleeve) that covers the case ala say Al;ien Quad, in which case the Custom cover gets the nod, I would have no problem with the internal case being applied to children if applicable.

The outside box is the same on both sides.  Use different cut out patters since one side has latches and other other has the slots where the top rises

The inside is blank on one side.

I'm going with the parent being the brown cardboard box and the child being the inner box.

That's consistent with the Rules, Tom. Even though I agree it is less satisfying.

He's talking about the brown box with a handle, the one in the first picture, that looks like a suitcase.

I'd go with the inside cover - at least locally.

But I'd also contribute it and check out what the other voters are saying. I mean not a lot of people are going to have this anyway. Even less are using DVD Profiler. And even more less take part in the voting.

So if only three people are actually using this specific profile why not let them decide what they want as cover.

It's not the Batman DVD (for example) that basically everyone owns and where arguments about the right cover could get nasty.

I just think the OP wants to show off his gift set.

I have a similar release, with a suitcase box packaging.
The Alien/Predator special monster box (JP). The front scan of that one is the box containing the goodies. A black, large box.
The back cover is a picture of the contents inside the box, spread out next to each other.

I know this really isn't adding much to this thread, but the rule has always been the outermost packaging should be used for the profile.

You mean the plastic wrapping?

IMO it can at times be discussed what really is the "outermost" packaging.

Take for example the Alien Head. It comes in two boxes. One outer brown one and one inner, which I recall is black/green (like the Quadrilogy box). And then there's the head...

The same with the Sonny Head (I, Robot) set. An outer box and then the inner white box. And then the head. Which is used for the front cover in the db.

I think the rule could be to use the picture that best depicts the entire set, from the outside.
