I'm trying to add a Serbian DVD to the database, but the country is not listed in the "Country of Origin" dropdown list. Should I just leave the field blank or is there some way around this?

All you can do is leave the field blank, I'm afraid. Over the years, many suggestions have been made to deal with this problem as well as the problem of multinational co-productions, but alas, no luck so far.

For your local database, there is a solution if there are countries in the list that you do not use. You can then "translate" an unused country to "Serbia" (Tools>options>system>language>edit). Of course you should never contribute profiles concerned by this modification. I use such translations to modify unused fields (theater spectators per movie in place of rating details, for example)

or you could manually edit the localities.xod file.....

however it will only work locally.

On this topic does does anyone have knowledge of the Serbian film classifiication system?
