The rules talk about the "only difference", I carefully have chosen "close enough" because as usual there is some grey area. What does "only difference" mean? Is a cover still "identical except for the logo" if the title beside the missing logo has been slightly moved for aesthetic reasons? Any thoughts? The real problem is, the screeners don't care to follow the rules in quite a lot of cases... They just follow the majority of the voters and don't care how good your reasons are - even if you back them up with quoting the rules. For instance... Right now image contributions of all profiles of the Cinedition released in Germany are up for voting... all miss the front slip cover... and yet many people vote yes because of the (most time) improved quality (which could also be achieved with slip cover)... There even was a voting here in the forum for this topic ( http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=491956)... but when it comes down to voting only those ignoring the rules vote  I sure bet that most of those contributions get approved because the screeners don't care either |
