Is there anyone else who would like an import feature to the product? What I mean is a capability to select "File" under "Add" as a for example positioning, which then allows you to import DVDs with CSV or delimited files. This would facilitate cross product migrations, and also cater for the digital copies that I am sure Profiler userrs have, in their hundreds?

This could allow a little bit of flexibility to allAs a spinoff, tw non-DVD titles (e.g. CDs) to be manually added once user accepts the limits of such an exersice.

There are numerous threads and activities regarding importing. One solution involves the use of a "plugin" called BulkEdit. BulkEdit has been used to import CollertorZ databases (XML) and DVDSPot (CSV). BulkEdit will also import XML in the format output by DVD Profiler. One user has actually created a clever Wine List (use this as a search term), importing data with BulkEdit.

The CSV / DVDSpot import of BulkEdit has been temporarily disabled, pending updates, but it could be re-instated quickly if the need arose. I hope this helps in the interim until the product import feature is enhanced.
