In Italy we don't have descriptive rating details as in UK or USA, but we have something called "Visto Censura" with a number and a date. If you want you can check the "Visto censura" with number and date at hand (is not online, you have to ask for it in the appropriate office) and read the explanation of the rating (that is not short, but very exhaustive, sometimes two pages).

It seems to me that in the "rating details" field for those editions the "Visto censura" number and date should fit, but even if Invelos approved my changes i have another user that keeps on submitting new contributions where he erase the rating details field, saying that is not descriptive.

Who's wrong?

Thanks for any input.

The rules say to include the details, and if there is no other source (DVD cover), the details can come from a website. The rules do not say however, to include only a reference to a website.

So maybe you should keep your information for local use.

Your question does raise a point for other countries though, where details are not in words, but indicated by symbols, which themselves are explained on websites.

I agree... I would keep this local only as well.

Maybe i was unclear: on the cover, below the rating, there are details, but they are not "descriptive". They look this way: (example) Visto censura N. 10000 del 10/01/2009. They are not a reference to a website or similar, that's just the way it is used here in Italy.

Int his case what should i do: include this (unique) reference or not?

Please, advise

Visto censura N. 10000 del 10/01/2009 is not a detail of the rating, and don't add any useful information about the rating (like sex, strong language, violence or other).
So I agree with Pete and Hans.

I agree... that reference is not details of the rating. (the actual reasons why it was rated as such is the details). So I do not believe such a thing should be online. But of course you are free to add it locally.
