This has happened in some submissions.
In this case "Ed Ames as "Ballad of the War Wagon" Sung By"

| | Posted: | | | | I need more information before I can answer...mainly, the context of the song. Was it just part of the score? Was it featured as part of a radio broadcast or something similar? Did another person lyp sync the song, while Ed Ames sang it? | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.

| | Posted: | | | | We do NOT, at this time, credit Song Performers in the crew section for Contribution. You can list them locally under other within Music,I do this BTW. Now,if had an On Screen appearance then he could get a Cast Credit. Benn a long time, I don't recall if he appears or not, but he absolutely did sing the ballad in the opening sequence.
(Look at those horses, what are they draggin'?)
(Heavily guarded, what is that wagon?)
(War Wagon, what is it for)
(War Wagon, loaded with gold)

| | Posted: | | | | In this particular film, the credit refers to the performance of the opening credits song. There is no radio broadcast or actual staged performance during the feature. Think of it as a James Bond song sung by credit, which you see on almost every installment.
Since we don't credit musical performers as crew unless they are songwriters and the person/people obviously are not part of the cast, there is no appropriate place at this time for such a credit. |

| | Posted: | | | | "Ed Ames as "Ballad of the War Wagon" Sung By" was listed in the cast credits and not the crew credits in the submission. The song was sung in the opening credits.
