There's a contribution right now that removes the Special Effects Coordinator because there are Visual Effects Supervisors credited. I voted No, but the contributor thinks the Visual Effects Supervisor is the functional equivalent of a Special Effects Supervisor therefore should be removed. Am I reading the rules wrong and is the Special Effects Coordinator not allowed when a Visual Effects Supervisor is credited? | | | | Cor |

A Special Effects Coordinator is allowed even when a Visual Effects Supervisor is credited. The only time a Special Effects Coordinator isn't allowed is when a Special Effects Supervisor is credited.
It sounds like the contributor is getting confused about Special Effects and Visual Effects.

Indeed. Agreed.In fact, I don't even understand why it's even remotely an issue. There is no relationship between SEC and a Visual, Digital or any other Effects person that we use.   | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
