Ok, I certainly hope this doesn't go 8 pages + but given how even the simplest things get into back and forth debates, I don't have high hopes

I just got Spartacus: Blood and Sand: The Complete First Season Blu-ray and the discs are housed in a book like case slid in on the side on each page (made of cardboard) however there aren't any actual pages that would be covered under the description of a digibook so would it be a custom case? I would lean toward custom since Digibook, like Steelbook, is pretty specific but I thought I would ask.

For anyone that might own Rome: The Complete Series BD, it's the same type of thing though in the database it's listed as an HD Keep Case which is incorrect and I will change it once I get an idea of which this one is...

Edit: For an idea of what I'm talking about, it is similar to what would be envelopes but here there are 4 of them within a book-like binding.

I don't own that set, but it sounds similar to the way the Simpsons are now encased. And they're getting custom case.
If I understand Digibook correctly, the discs need to be in an actual traditional book (with pages, text, pictures and so on). What you describe doesn't sound like that.

Although if we get many more of these, an additional case type might be required - what to call them though!

Yeah, I would just stick with custom because we don't need yet another one. What would it be? Envelope Book?

Personally I'd go for "piece of cheap crap" but it may be too long!

While yes it is cheaper than what they could have done (just an HD Slim or HD Keep Case), the cardboard is very sturdy and the part where the discs slide in are smooth so it's easy to take the discs out.

If it is like Rome on Blu-ray then I would go with custom.

In regards to the cases for the last few seasons of The Simpsons, I agree.  I hate these cases.  The artwork on it is great, but I hate how the discs are stored and I always have trouble getting the discs out.  I call them the worst cases ever.  lol
