| Posted: | | | | I am trying to add a DVD to my collection - The Fourth Kind (UPC-5017239196447)
When I type in the UPC, or the Title I only get the option of a Profile from Norway...which has some of the information wrong but I can't change the parts I need to. How do I add a movie without using the UPC or Title in order to create a completely new Profile for this movie?
I await any assistance anyone can provide. |

Then you double-click the profile and change everything that you want to change.
Or else you uncheck the box "Download from Invelos" on the lower left side of the Add DVD screen. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | There are a couple of ways you can enter this.
First, you can add it by the UPC and accept the profile from Norway. Then, once you have this one in your database you can change it to match your needs.
To change it - go to the top of the screen at touch "DVD". This opens a box > "Change Locality".
You can then use the data that is already in the database and change whatever is incorrect - scans for example.
The other way to enter a DVD is to enter it via the disc id. Go to the same section you would to enter via the UPC or Title. But, instead of these, touch the "By Inserted Disc" area.
If your computer doesn't enter the DVD right away, you should check that it is set up to read the disc id.
To do this go the the top of the screen to "Tools" > "Options" > "Systems". Make sure that under "DVD-ROM Drive" under "Drive" you see "E". If you see the word "None" touch the little down arrow and press "E".
Good luck! |
