There is a Professor Toru Tanaka http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0849048/ born in 1930 But also a Toru Tanaka Jr. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0848963/ I am really not good in figuring these things out, that's why I bring it to the forum before making a new contribution  |

| | Posted: | | | | No birth years are needed here: Jr. is never ever credited as "Professor Toru Tanaka", let alone that it would be his common name. So that's not an issue.
The only problem here is how to parse Professor Toru Tanaka. The CLT shows that he's currently parsed like this:
- 100 profiles as Professor Toru//Tanaka
- 71 profiles as Professor/Toru/Tanaka
- 9 profiles as Professor Toru Tanaka//
As ninehours showed, it's really a stage name (real name: Charles Kalani), meaning that the last option (all in the first name field) is actually correct. And only 9 profiles have him listed like that yet, so there's a lot of work to be done... |
