Hi
I got over 300 international DVD's (all originals) not in my collection yet (Not English some English subtitled)
I need to catalogue and approve each and one of them
This would take weeks to approve and cataloguing
Any easier way to catalogue and approve pictures for online database

How about adding them in "Wish List"?
( If I get your Q right )

You'll have to provide the data and pictures for approval, also for non-English titles, and that will take time.
However, there is no requirement to fill in all the data immediately, but some are required, such as obviously title, and some audio and video details (and preferably release date). You can fill in the overview and especially cast and crew at a later date, or wait for someone else to do so.

using a DVD Rom player and hooked to the internet along with  your Profiler database open,., you could put each of the discs into the tray and see if they come up and then add them when they do.. 10 a day for month .. It'll be done in no time ..

If they fail to be recognised it could be the locality of the disc in question.. try and search for the title itself. If you find another locality same title download that title and make some changes to the locality under the task bar to your locality and submit along with what disc UPC you grandfathered over most of the information. You may have to make other changes yourself such as audio etc ..

again  10 a day in a month you'll be very happy ..
don;t forget to backup backup ..

Here's a guide for "cloning" profiles, as it's called.

Make sure they are not already in database. I find it always better to use UPC, as they may already be in database.
