Is there a way to insert the media format in a report either the name or the logo?  I have DVDs and Blu-Ray but I want a report of ALL my movies sorted by titled but somewhere I would like to identify the media type.

If not possible at this time, are you aware if this possibility will appear eventually in future release?

Thanks

AFAIK, that capability has been in DVDP since it was able to catalog Blu-ray releases.  It is one of the conditionals.

That said, I just uploaded a report called DVD/Blu-ray Catalog v1.0.  It not only shows the DVD and Blu-ray logo images, it also displays the DVD and Blu-ray region codes correctly.  The report requires DVDP v3.6 in order to work, as it uses the new capabilites in the report generator.

Thank you Mr Video. Your report helped me in building the type of report I am looking for but I have one additional question as my report is not exactly what I want.  With the new 3.6 version, I added some video types such as DivX and VHS (movies that I converted).  I created a logo for these but how can I have these appeared in my report if one of these types is selected.  Is this possible?  Or I will have to wait for a future version.

thanks

You are welcome, and a damn good question.  I do not have an answer.  That is something that Ken is going to have to respond to.  The only media type conditionals that I saw were for the DVD, Blu-ray and HD-DVD media types.  No custom media types at all.  If there is a way, I do not know it.

Yes, custom media type is available as a separate condition type.  Select it and type the exact name of the custom media type.

I'll be damned.  There it is.  Never even noticed.  I was looking for it in the Media type.

By exact, do you mean it is case sensitive, or just matching character sensitive?

@jarpy:  All you need to do now is duplicate one of the media types I have in the report, change the conditional and the image and you are all set.  Enjoy.

Thanks to you Guys......this is exactly what I was looking for and I managed to have the type of report I was looking for.  As soon as my report is ready, I will post it to make it available to everybody.  I will mentioned some details about the logos and naming convention that I used.  Once again....thank you!!!

@jarpy:

My report has been updated for custom media types.  Check out the separate thread for more info.

Thanks for the idea about adding custom media types.  The four main types, IMHO, have been added to the report, along with the appropriate logos.
