Just out of curiosity, how many Manual Profiles do you have in your collection, and why?

For me, it's 1 - a series called I, Videogame that Discovery sent a few years ago about the history of the videogame, that I found so interesting that I recorded them and burned them to a DVD. So I'm a geek, big deal!
The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson)

I have many... 1 release I have is enough to check off 20+ for this poll. As I have one of those 50 movies boxsets... and instead of doing it by disc I got the profiles from a friend that also has the set for each movie in the set. I been meaning to create profiles for each movie in all my multiple movie sets. It makes it easier to use the watched by function more accurately.

I don't have too many...6-10 range. Most are family videos that were made, but only one or two are movies that I had on VHS that aren't on DVD yet...still hoping they will be, but I know a couple that won't ever be.  Until then...this way, at least the picture won't degrade too much more.

Most of my wish list profiles are manual, since generally the movie doesn't yet exists on DVD/Blu-ray :

- old movies as "The Devils"
- new movies as "Avatar", "Agora", "Sherlock Holmes"... Those ones will get their UPC as soon as possible.

60 - mostly child profiles. Some for films I've copied from VHS to DVD (such as The Legend of Billie Jean which has never officially been released...and the only way I'd watch it is if it was on DVD).

I have pretty much all of my manual profiles in my TV category where I have one for the Parent, one for each series, then the profiles under the series.

For others doing like this, check out the Virtual Cover site located in my sig.  It's dedicated to shots for TV show custom profiles.

I have 89.

I have manual season profiles where the complete box has no season profiles due to a lack of UPC (Stargate SG-1, Buffy, Friends, Babylon 5, Due South).

I have an entire series twice (Babylon 5) and I can use the DiscId only once.

I also have two movies on the same side of the disc.

I have one for demonstration purposes (to show the then new Child-Child-Child-Profiles), and some other box-profiles without a EAN (mostly DVD-boxes with old films from the department of political education).

1 for Bonds.

I'm not sure of the total #, but most are for 2 movies on the same side of 1 disc and I want a separate entry for each, including separate cast and crew entries. Some are discs that are not in the online and I haven't had time to set them up myself yet, because they are a few episodes of this and a few episodes of that from different old sitcoms. And a few miscellaneous others.

I have no real manual profiles right now (I have a few that are only temporary until I get I receive the DVD/Blu-ray and can add the proper UPC or Disc ID).

I've been considering using manual profiles for all of those titles that have 2 or 3 films on 1 disc and are impossible to profile properly in DVD Profiler, since it looks like we might be a while off from being able to do that within a contributory manner.

I have over 250 manual profiles at the moment, the vast majority are for movies I've recorded and burned to DVD because they aren't commercially available.
