I wouldn't consider "Best of Hollywood" to belong into the Edition field at all, it's either a tag-line or title. So if it isn't option 3 I'd go for option 4:
"MIB - Men in Black / MIIB - Men in Black II", Edition: "2 movie collector's pack" | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

IMO it is different but only because it appears to be a box set so it could be construed as the box set title. If it was just one movie, then I would enter it as an edition. I would personally go with option 3 though option 1 wouldn't bother me either.  |

Really don't know "why not". It's more a "stomach feeling", which, of course, might be completely wrong. EDIT: But on the other hand, as pointed out already by samuelrichardscott, we have a difference: It's not simply a rerelease, but a complete new release as boxset and in this way not different from other boxsets that have strange titles (like e.g. Oster-Box (transl. Easter-Box)). That's why I would use it as "boxset-title" | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

Sure, it represent something, but that something is not part of the title. Neither is this, IMHO. This is merely a typographic representation of the title of the movie - "MIB" stands for "Men in Black". I don't see why we'd list it twice. Not that it matters, but just for fun: if you read "MIB: Man in Black" out loud, what would you say? "Men in Black, Men in Black"?
