| | Posted: | | | | I want to print my collection via landscape so I can cut them in half in a small 2 ring binder. What do those do that print 2 or more per page when they add to thier collection. If they are alpa how can you add without having to reprint the whole collection and keep it looking decent.

| | Posted: | | | | If you have a huge collection this might not be a good way for you but what I do, is to print out my collection report alphabetically but separate by letter. In other words I print all the "A"'s on one page or one and a half or whatever it takes to finish out the "A"'s then move onto the "B"'s and so on. This way when I add another movie, say, "Batman", I can print out all the "B" movies without affecting any of the other alpha listings already printed. With a two up layout like your talking about, this could still be a bit of printing to do, but still a fraction compared to printing your entire movie list again.

| | Posted: | | | | Use a 1 per page report, use tab dividers by genre in your binder and alphabetize by genre, then as you add a movie, print that one page and place it where it belongs, alphabetically. This makes it easy to keep up with, not to mention the printer ink costs. As a variant, print 2 sided and yes when you add pages, they will be blank on one side, unless you get lucky enough to have 2 in a row, alphabetically. At some point you will add one close enough to it that you can get away with printing just a few pages to get things back on track. Another variant, if you can't stand to see blank pages, print all on one side of a sheet, use plastic sleeves and place 2 of them back to back in one sleeve. As you add pages, you will only have to add sleeves and move pages to keep out the blanks. All of these help to keep the print costs down and the hair pulling, while trying to keep up with it.
