As you might have noticed, I'm cleaning up my LOST blu-ray profiles and hit a bit of a hurdle with Daniel Dae Kim's parsing. I couldn't find the answer in CLT (perhaps I'm not using it correctly), so any ideas on how his name need to be parsed?

Should it be Daniel / Dae / Kim or Daniel // Dae Kim?

This is a tough one to crack since he's from Korean descendance (Koreans don't use middle names) but has lived virtually his entire life in the US. Does anyone have a source or documentation somewhere? I couldn't find any online to support either parsing method ...

I didn find out that he has two sons:
Jackson Kim and Zander Kim
Can we deduce from there that his name should be parsed as Daniel / Dae / Kim?

With the info you have provided I would say Daniel / Dae / Kim is the way to go.

I agree with pete based on the evidence the answer is obvious. Kim is the last name. He descendancy is completely and totally irrelevant. He is (1) an American citizen, NOT Korean. This further reinforced by his American first name, and even further reinforced by the names of his children.

Thanks! That means that the majority of submissions is correct and only 2 profiles need to be corrected.

Koreans/Korean Americans do not use double last names.
