I've just ordered
EAN 8-717418-207779 - The Complete Goofy
from an online retailer today, so have entered it into my 'Ordered' list.
It is a Region 2 (United Kingdom) title, but the DVDProfiler database has it entered as the locality of Canada which is clearly wrong.
Is there any way to change this original profile's locality or do I have to create a new profile with a new locality? (If the latter is the case then this incorrect profile will need removing from the online database...) | | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| | Posted: | | | | It'll be added as a new entry as Locality seems to be the base for separating out different releases. You can of course use that one & update as necessary.
Once you've done that, I'd personally change the title on the incorrect Canada entry to something like
***INCORRECT ENTRY, PLEASE DELETE***
Then submit it giving the reasons in the contribution notes. |

If someone has entered it as Region 2 Canada (which you do not state), which IS possible to do, then someone else I suspect does not comprehend what Locality is all about, he/she lives in Canada and entered the locality as such in error. If that is the case, then yes you CAN change the Locality and reupload as a correction with appropriate notes.

Could someone explain me HOW to change locality?

| | Posted: | | | | In the programme, go to DVD / Change Locality. Tick the "Show All Localities" box if necessary, and adjust the region coding if necessary. If no profile for the correct locality exists yet, you might consult this guide on how to convert the rest of the profile (it's called "cloning profiles"). |

Thanx. It should be said a change of locality results in adding a new profile. So a simple note with "changed locality" isn't enough documentation. If you clone from another profile put in the notes, from which one you've taken the informations and which parts you've got changed.
