| | Posted: | | | | Just got the Blu-ray of Ghostbusters today (the day it was released). Did a full audit of the disc.
Noted that Ernie Hudson's role name was misspelled as Winston Zeddemore when it should be Winston Zeddmore.
The profile was changed just a few weeks ago (pre-release!) with the claim it was approved for another profile so it must be correct. I couldn't refute it since this disc wasn't released yet. Maybe that source profile was correct, maybe not. I don't know, i don't own it. I own this one so i know what is right for it and i've submitted the fix.
My point?
Question everything! Assume nothing! Demand proof!
We aren't yet to the point we can trust "approved" profiles. If i don't own it, i don't trust it.

With one proviso...make the change only if the credit for the user's version agrees. Let.s not just run out making changes wholesale on the basis of one credit in one version in one region/Locality. Ghostbusters has been released at least three times. we want totry and get it right for each possibility, IF they are all Zeddmore no one will be happier than I.  Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
