Handling of credits on a misprinted dvd |

I wonder how the credits should be handled for a misprinted dvd I have here. Normally it would be a dual-layer dvd but somehow they managed to only produce a single-layer dvd and forgot the 2nd layer. So only half the movie is on it... so according to the rules I'd only be able/allowed to enter the credits from the movie intro?
(The defective and the replacement dvds have no UPC/EAN and the fixed replacement dvd's with the whole movie have another disc-id so it gets its own entry). | | | | Last edited: by MakoDeth |

| | Posted: | | | | I'd say: enter the opening credits only. And if you really feel like doing a lot of work, you might enter cast that's not part of the opening credits if you can provide a time stamp for their appearance in the half of the movie that's actually on disc and mark them uncredited.
BTW: things like Running Time and Features will need adjustment to what's actually on the disc as well.
Given the fact that the replacement disc (fortunately) has a different Disc ID, it will be part of the Invelos database as a curiosity. | | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

I'd just throw the defective/half disc away and only profile/add to my collection the correct, complete movie send as a replacement and presumebly the disc sold at the moment.

I take it this is from a boxset or collection to not have a UPC?
If I did profile the error, I'd probably add "ERROR, Half-Disc" to the edition field, even if only for my local. |
