I'm talking about the animators of the Israeli movie Waltz with Bashir, which is basically done with CGI.
Can I contribute them in the Visual Effects category or not?

Thanks,
Lior

P.S: the Israeli 2-Disc edition is very nice - a Digi that includes a Storyboard booklet and a 35M film frame.

I can see why you may want to include them but my instincts would be to not. Plus I can't see anything in the Crew rules that would allow them.

No, they can not be contributed as visual effects.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I would suggest using the local-only "Other" field in your crew list.

I'm not one of those people who usually do that.
I simply removed those credits entirely and contributed the profile.

It doesn't sound like it really matters, but if you were to utilize the "other" field, it automatically gets left out when you contribute crew to the online.  It's actually quite nice that way.
