I'm in the process of auditing my Nightmare on Elm Street collection. In part 2, Robert Englund has a credit for "Freddy Kruger", but he also plays an uncredited role of school bus-driver in the opening sequence.
The overview even says "Look for Robert Englund minus his Freddy face in the opening sequence." I did, saw it, and grabbed screen for proof.

My question is, since he already has one credit in the film, is it within the rules/boundaries of common sense, to give this role an "uncredited" mention in the cast list?

I wouldn't want to add the role to the existing {Freddy Kruger/Bus Driver} as that wouldn't match the credits, and would look wrong anyway. Plus with one credited and the other not....

I can't see a problem with adding a second, separate uncredited role for him. Nothing springs to mind that would be against the rules.

You are right, you don't want to merge the credits.  Forget is right.  An uncredited listing is just fine.

Nice of them to give you a hint in the overview.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

I think it is still Freddy Kruger, but before he got burned, so personally, I wouldn't add Robert as Bus Driver with the uncredited box selected.

I was thinking this too, although from the lore of the films he was a janitor and not a busdriver, although maybe he did both jobs.
I just submitted it without the role and will wait for further discussion to see where that leads.

I agree.  In fact, this sounds a lot like Robin Williams in Aladdin...he's credited as the Genie, but he's also uncredited as the Peddler from the opening scene (hmmm...must be a common theme with the uncredited opening scene thing!  ) and this is how it is listed in that profile.

Agreed.  It is perfectly fine to add a second, uncredited, listing.

I agree as well... wouldn't have any problem with it.

I definitely want him in my profile as uncredited for the role of the bus driver, and I can't think of a mention anywhere in the rules that would prohibit such a contribution.

I say submit it. I wasn't even aware he appeared in part 2 as the bus driver, so it'd definitely be good information to have!

First submission I skipped it, but re-subbed with it.

Thanks all.
