Hi, I'm doing an audit for Honeymoon Suite: HMS Live (8024391000830) which is not in the profiler yet. The locality is set to German, because of the rating, and distributor in Germany: Soul Food. The overview is in english, but might be because it's the only version available?
Anyway the rating label says: Freigegeben following something in samll letters that I can't read, and gemä(and double s symbol) § 14 JuSchG FSK. Is this equal to FSK-0 ?

Yellow is 6
Green is 12
Blue is 16
Red is 18

The label is white, so that means FSK-0 then

Correct

EDIT: Hmmmmm, € 7,98 + 3,- shipping @ amazon. For seeing them "Live" again ... I think it's almost ordered
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

"Freigegeben ohne Altereinschränkung" means something like "no age restrictions" or "free for all ages". So yes, it's FSK-0.

Not to hijack the thread, but can I ask a question as well? I've come across German ratings where it only says "gemäß ..." as in the old label listed above this post, so without the "Freigegeben ohne Altersbeschränkung", also in a white field. Would that be FSK-0 or NR?

NR is a very rare case in germany because basically everything has to be rated or can't be sold freely.

The old labels look like this:

There are different old "18" labels, but they are all red:

The one NR label I know of is this:

Which basically says that's it's not rated but penologically unobjectionable

Older than the above labels have the same colours but refer to § 7 JÖSchG.

Probably FSK-0 then. Just to make sure, could you please take a look at the back cover of EAN 4020974152747? This is an example of what I was referring to.

It's a documentary. In germany they are often not rated like films (since most documentations are producded for TV) but classified as "info program". It is basically free for all ages, but not FSK-0.

Just selected "INFO" in the Profiler rating field.

Sorry, no better pic found at the moment...

There is another rare variant, "Lehr-Programm gemäß §14 JuSchG FSK" which is sometimes used for instructional videos or films which are shown to school classes. This would be marked as "LEHR" in DVD Profiler.

Many thanks for that!
I wasn't even aware INFO is a separate rating and that it exists in DVDP!

Have some correcting and contributing to do then...
