Hi,

I really like the way 3.5.1 handles them but was surprised when I added Bruce Lee - Ultimate Collection to my profiler (UPC 024543204763).  There is only one UPC on the box set, the individual DVDs do not have their own.  When I selected the UPC listed above, it correctly downloaded the profile for this box set, but without the individual DVDs.  I was sure a previous box set I had downloaded in this manner also came with the associated DVDs (but I could be wrong).

I stuck each DVD in turn into my drive, and it correctly associated them via DiscID with the box set without me having to go back and tell DVDP which was the parent and which were in the set (so that part worked well).

So the question is, should DVDP have downloaded 6 profiles in total when I put in the one UPC ?  (box set UPC + 5 discs which are part of the set)

Thanks,
R.

I've just tried it and it worked fine for me.
To answer your question, as long as the parent profile has been updated in the the online to include the child profile details then yes, it should open a pop-up to ask you if you also want to download the child profiles when you add the parent profile. I'm guessing it's possible a stray key press or mouse click maybe cancelled this pop-up.

If it happens with another boxset, try selecting the profile in your collection and press Ctrl+F12, this will also search for and download child profiles for boxsets.

OOOOH CTRL + F12 !!

Did not know that, glad I posted now.  Just tried it out (although against my now complete Bruce Lee box set) and it correctly reported "No additional child profiles available".  And yes, I think it is entirely likely I wasn't paying enough attention when I downloaded the original profile and accidentally canceled the pop-up, because that also explains why when I tried to contribute the new profile (now with all child profiles), it stated there were no changes in the box set profile I was trying to send up.

All makes sense now, great stuff, thanks for the reply.
