I'm in the process of creating an Illustrator file of the Blu-ray region code logos, for use in the reports.  It is done, except for the three letters (A B C).  Problem is I have no clue as to what font face is being used for the logo.

If anyone knows what font face is being used, I'd appreciate a reponse posting.

Then comes the issue of knowing how the regions are coded in Profiler.  There are 7 possible region codes: A, B, C, AB, AC, BC, ABC.  I'm assuming that ABC is coded as region 0 and A=1, B=2 and C=3.  What do AB, AC and BC get coded as.

Thanks.

The coding of the regions is simply the letter(s) (e.g. "A" or "A, B"). ABC is coded as 0.

Thanks.  All I need now is the font family that is used for the logos.

OK, I went looking through a bunch of fonts at a site and found what I was looking for.  Thank goodness it was relatively early in the alphabet.

Depending on where you get the font, it is Eurostile Bold or Eurostile Black.

I've created an Adobe Illustrator file of all the possible combinations (stroked the letters, so the font isn't necessary), 300 dpi TIFF versions and PNG versions that fit within a 800x600 window for printing on reports.

The Profiler authors can grab this and replace the logos in the program with these as well, since they now have the correct font and look more "official."

The zip file is available for downloading.  It is about 1MB in size.

Enjoy.
