| Posted: | | | | Hi Patsy, First of all: welcome to the Asylum! Through a plugin importing your collection from your program is fairly easy. You can find a "cookbook" on how to do it here (scroll down to the post starting with V.088 available). The plugin in question is called BulkEdit and can be found here. You will however need to buy a license if you want to use all of DVD Profiler's features on more than 50 DVDs. More info is here. To be honest though, the one-time license fee of 30 bucks may well be the best investment I ever made! Good luck! DJ | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | You will be able to use custom covers in the program itself... but not your online collection at invelos. there is a workaround to that as well if you use phpdvdprofiler and your own webspace. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Well, it's not MY program - I'm just a fellow user. The posts with a yellow background are from the program's owners, all the others are from users like you and me.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have!
Regarding custom covers: in your local database on your PC you can use any covers you like. However you can not contribute them to the central Invelos database and if you decide to upload your collection to the Invelos website, they will not show there (if possible, for your online Invelos will try to pull the covers from the central Invelos database).
Regarding custom made box sets: you could create what is called "manual profiles" for these. Again, these will not be contributable to the central Invelos database. They will however show up in your online collection, albeit without cover scans.
DVD Profiler allows you to filter your collection in almost every conceivable way. Moreover, you can define tags to mark items in your collection, which is also a very flexible tool. And on top of all that, some fellow users have developed plugiins for the program, which enhance its functionality even further. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

Not exactly a step by step, but some explanation and hints are here below "Overview and Method of Operation". There is a link to the step-by-step in the first post of the BulkEdit thread. Repeated here: CollectorZ MigrationAnd there is the beginnings of New User Migration Assistance here. Incomplete, but there a a few topics. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
