Story in LA Times.

Tribute at Ain't It Cool.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

A great personality has passed away...

I "blame" Forry for my love of fifties B-horrors. I used to read about them in Famous Monsters (which wasn't all that easy to find here in Sweden in the sixties...) and I so wanted to see them, but very few of them ever played here.

So, I had to wait for the home video revolution, and then I started collecting them. And I was hooked. It wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Uncle Forry and Famous Monsters of Filmland. But I'm not complaining...

RIP Dr. Acula
